Merry Main Street
A Collaboration with Play Frisco
Through this station, we helped spread positivity by helping kids make bracelets. We chose bracelet-making because it allows people to have the freedom to create something that gives them a sense of accomplishment.
Through our snowflake making station, we were able to reinforce the benefits of crafting on mental health. We gave people the choice to either keep their snowflake or put it on our wall. When people chose to put it on the wall, it gives them a sense of satisfaction that they were able to contribute to something in the community.
We also handed out informational brochures about the impacts of crafting on overall mental health. All in all, it was an enjoyable experience and we were able to spread more awareness for our cause!
